Due to the gradual accumulation of shite that I've experienced at PetCo, I'm turning in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. I don't ever want to work with the public again. They can lick my chocolate salty balls.


(I posted a huge rant on myspace for those who are interested)..:p
Its time for me to move on to greener pastures, I say. I'm currently whoring my work at local galleries and looking for another future job (one is manufacturing jewlery for Holly Yashi...oooooo)

Anyway...I thought someone would get a giggle from the title :)
 
haha, i was replying to this on the independance day thread, then i saw that your post was gone and i was like "wtf?"

but anyway, best of luck with the new avenues you're checking out. way to get out of retail, Lesa!

One thing is for sure.. Petco is losing a great employee. I 'm sure of that!

What are your skills? And I don't blame you for not wanting to work with the public, retail can be a bitch. I managed a Music Land for a year and it drove me bonkers. I thought I would be ok if I opened up a metalshop, but that's going down the tubes also. I just came to the realization of reguardless of how cool the store is, who the hell wants to work in retail the rest of there life? Not me.

You make jewelry? What kind? I'm always looking for new products to add to my website.
 
I never gave two week notices for any of my prior jobs, I would just suprise them by not showing up one day and never returning there calls.

yeah Lesa, i too know the pain of the jobless endeavor...
i hope you find something soon! maybe try something art related! there is where you have true talent!
