Curious as to what others think about these 3 guitarists. Hendrix seemed to be sloppy in technique, but monumental in expressing human emotion. Beck, while technically brilliant, lacked IMO, the emotional aspect. Bolin, somehow comveyed both extreme technical ability and tremendous emotion through his playing. I've heard that Hendrix could play lead, rythem and bass at once. An incredible feat. He would also drop the third and use diminished chords. This is not a statement of who is the best, just wanted some theorys on where Hendrix and Bolin(if they had lived) would be now. Some think that what Jeff Beck is doing now is what Hendrix and Bolin could also be doing. Discuss.
