So heres a project I just finished.... when after a really heavy punchy sound
Speed metal!!!

This sounds pretty fucking good man. The only thing standing out weird to me is the vocal reverb/vocals in general are separating fron the mix a bit. The music sounds great though, what'd you use for the bass?

I know the thing about the vocals is that they wanted them to stand out with that old school feel of a lot of reverb but yeah im going to lower them in the mix so they dont poke out to much. For bass I used two tracks... one had Ampeg(SVT-Pro) for the basic bass tone, and the other tracks i used BassRider to add a little bit of grind, those two tracks when to a bus and i compressed them and limit them to have a solid low end.
