We've gotten a few messages asking when, or if, TSB was released, so I'm letting everyone know, it HAS been released (as of Feb. 22, 2008) and is available at stores and online sources.

Cheers!

Just your myspace tracks, im interested to find some others

it appears you guys have been around for awhile and I dig my old school thrash, why wasnt I aware!? haha

Yup. The band has existed since well, 1978 really. But the first Exciter album, Heavy Metal Maniac, came out in 1983, before Kill 'Em All ;)

Check out http://www.myspace.com/massacrerecordseurope for one of the tunes of the new CD. The track is named Massacre Mountain.

Cheers!

know of any cheap US retailers?

Sorry, no. We don't have North American distro yet. Hopefully, Massacre can get that on the go at some point. I'd suggest getting it form an online retailer from Europe. I think that would be the most inexpensive method. Otherwise, it can be special ordered at most CD stores, but it'll be an import and likely pretty expensive.

Glad you like the material!

Cheers!

I'll wait, buying from Europe is not an option for me.

I just saw Exciter last weekend at Atarfe Vega Rock here in Spain. In spite of the sound was awful (like most of the bands, shitty PA from promoters) they were crazy as fuck. Not too much people seeing canadian legends but a lot of recognition and respect. Everyone shouting "Exciter, Exciter" at the end of each song.

Kenny is an amzing singer. He did it quite well not only with new ones (four songs from "TSB" if I´m not wrong) but with classics and Belanger era too.

I missed "Pounding metal" and a couple of classic but in the end was fantastic seeing Exciter first time in Spain (I saw the band in Belgium 2001 too)

I haven´t bought yet "TSB" but new songs sounded killer!! Besides, there´s NO Exciter bad album along their career. True underground legends!!! :headbang:

Hey thanks!! The gig was a LOT of fun and the crowd was nuts!!

I especially loved when they serenaded us with the "olé, olé, olé" song! That was fucking awesome!!!

We met a lot of really cool people over there too.

Cheers!

I can assure you that most of people shouting "Exciter Exciter" or "Oe, oe, oe" were exclusively to see the band.

For instante, from the whole festival line up, I hadn´t seen Ratt and Slaughter. I have seen the rest of the billing. I was thinking going or not to Atarfe (450km from Madrid = 300miles I guess)but finally just for Exciter and Ratt for me it was worth.

I talked with many people near me in Exciter from different parts of Spain. They were there just for singing "Long live the loud" or "Heavy metal maniac".

I have to say too that the band were superb on stage. 100% passionate but a 100% professional. The right attitude. John Ricci= God!!!

They seriously need to release the new album in US real soon. I really want to hear the new album, and I don't want to have to pay extra money to get it shipped all the way from Europe.
