Threat Signal

I loved Under Reprisal...I really loved Kyle's riffage. I am not really impressed with the new tune, but definitely still willing to give the new album a chance!

Edit: After watching this video...I am more excited about the album. Definitely fun to watch.

ah I am so dissapointed by them to make us think that the drums were are actually recorded in that shithole...

when it sounds like really really programmed on the cd...

I just went and saw em' with Autumn Offering at Station 4 on Saturday.. They fucked up substantially atleast 10 times. I will not be going to see them again any time soon (which is sad because they WERE my favorite band until I saw them live and found out they can't play their own shit)

The singer, Travis kicks fucking ass though.

Also, adam uses a Randall G3 while the other guy uses a 6505

For me the bass player is very good, the guitaris is also good....but the drummer is very very bad (it's hylarious that sometimes he plays better the kick than a simple 4 on cymbals)

but come on how can get a decent drum sound in such a crappy place !
when it sounds clearly that it's programmed why are you stupidly trying to fool people and making a video and all.... the only option I can see is that they used drum tracker + superior or something. but even a quantized to death performance don't give you something like the song "Behond recognition". i am ok with programmed drums, i used it on my band's last promo cd, but come one fukken admit it.

It disappoints me deeply 'cause I am a big fan of Under Reprisal.

Concerning how do they play live, I'd like to hear more experiences from other gigs. There are fuck-ups nights.
But it's true that the drummer seemed not so good on the video.

The singer, Travis kicks fucking ass though.

Travis is one of the new guitar players, John is their singer.

My drummer just went and saw em at The Pearl Room in Illinois yesterday, i was supposed to go but work wouldn't let me out. He texted immedietly after and said it was fucking awesome.

AND for what it's worth to everyone, Kyle has a MySpace and i've talked to him a little bit. He's started a new project in his hometown of Canada, and their expecting stuff to be released Winter 2009/Spring 2010. So i'm looking forward to that.
