Three Days Grace. I think though musically yeah kind of simple, the vocals and production are amazing. Especially the album One-X, and I kind of like the new CD too. Any thoughts? I just met these guys this weekend, great show. Though I hated seeing Breaking Benjamin (That's just me.)

Yeah they are a really cool fellow Canuck (Canadian) band!!! The only thing I don't really like is the guitar tone - I think Barry uses a Diezel but the tone is quite fizzy IMO.

the band is from norwood ontario, which is about 15 mins from my house. my g/f was raised there.

Great band, but I have to say there are alot of posers around here who claim to know them and think that they are going to get a record deal with their look a like band.

the bassists brother has a band called my darkest days that has pretty much rode off 3dg success, but I wont get started on that.

good band, great songs! but I have put up with way too many of their obsessed poser fans lol I guess thats what happens when someone from your (very small) town gets famous

Just like all these post-grunge modern metal bands, they have three or four great songs but the rest is meh. If all their songs were as good as I Hate Everything About You, Home and Gone Forever it would be one of my favourite bands. It´s one of those bands that after 5 or 6 albums you could compile into an awesome "best of" disc.

What did you hate about seeing Breaking Benjamin?

I really enjoy about half of the songs on each of 3DG's albums, the rest are really meh. Saw a making of video for their latest album, they were mic'ing adam with an SM7 outside of the building in some big parking lot. Seriously badass vocal productions, but im sure it's mostly his voice lol.

I thought the latest CD had some very poor songs. Only a couple good ones.

Yeah Adam is one of my favorite vocalists. I just can't stand Breaking Benjamins vocalist. At all, live and in studio. I don't know why.

I utterly despise the genre, to be honest. I'd rather listen to straight up pop or even country. The uber simplistic song structures with absolutely gay hooks and cliche lyrics irritate me to no end. Three songs and I'm ready to blow my brains out. And don't get me started on that band Seether. Fuck.

Never heard 3DG, but if they're even half as bad as Seether... :ill:

BB has their moments though IMO

we used to carve the adam guy at my high school (im around the same age as them)

whooooooowhhhhhhhiiiiiiiyyyyyyyy whoodoooo whooooIIIIII hhhhlooove hhhhyoooouuuuuuhhhhhh

all of a sudden all the local singers started adding h`s to the beginning of every word

I hate Seether, I think 3DG are musically solid and not cliche most of the time. I think Adam has a good voice, they seemed like nice guys but you can never tell. I'm not a radio rock fan by normal standards I mean 3 Days Grace yes, but besides that. I hate nickelback, saving abel, hinder, etc. Something about 3DG though to me, I don't know.
