Oh the song is great and everything and so on and so forth and the acting was terrific, but still.. vid did not deliver. Lots of potential but it just fell short somehow.

AHAHAHAHA was just talking about this album today. Twisted Sister are such a great band and good on them for doing this record its good for LOLZ.

My 2007 review of A Twisted Christmas:
"That album was shiteous. Every song sounds as bad [as that video], except even less like "We're Not Gonna Diet". Steady 8th note guitar throughout, often at the expense of chord changes found in the original songs that, when skipped, put the vocals out of key."
It's like Dee meant to do a more straight forward holiday album by himself and recorded his melodies to fit with traditional arrangements of the songs, but then at the last minute the label insisted on it being an official Sister release, so the existing vocal tracks were slapped onto whatever plodding, soulless crap the band could lay down in an afternoon.
