Favela of My Dismay
Exemplary death/doom from the Deep South. (There's actually a coon in the line-up to bring authenticity.) Released two demos in the early 90's then vanished in to the night to make babies with their fellow Wal-Mart checkers. This band is pulling a N2002 and having their demos re-issued on CD via Profound Lore tentatively next year. (Crossing fingers)
Methodically composed death that plods at a trot, conservatively paced to give the listener time to savor the flavor of decay. Their demos are opuses of the highest order.

I shall impale you
On the crumbled pillars of the millennia
:kickass:

Did I mention the drumming is as tight as a kike's coin purse?

I came across this whilst perusing Metal Archives a few months back. Quickly put it on my Listen To list and never got around to doing so. This thread has since allowed me to do so, so thanks

DARK DESCENT RECORDS / THE CRYPT PRESENT TIMEGHOUL (USA) CD/LP

For the first time ever on CD and Vinyl, Dark Descent Records and The Crypt have joined forces once again to proudly present the complete discography from the legendary Science Fiction / Fantasy Death Metal legends TIMEGHOUL (USA).

Born in the Midwest United States in 1987, Doom’s Lyre remained relatively quiet, recording no material before changing their name. In 1991, Doom’s Lyre, now renamed Timeghoul, set out by releasing two demos; 1992’s Tumultuous Travelings and 1994’s Panaramic Twilight.
Largely ignored and mostly forgotten, these recordings did not receive the recognition they deserved until years later. Timeghoul’s eclectic and complex style of US death metal started to gain momentum within the underground as overlooked and classic material.
Prepare for one of the most unique and complex death metal offerings the early 90's had to offer.

CD version by Dark Descent Records and Vinyl version by The Crypt.

Good Goat Almighty, this re-release is kicking my fucking nads in. Reason #205 why mp3s fucking suck. I've listened to these tracks atleast a 100 times, but have never been flung head over horns as I am at the moment. Rattling the neighborhood with OSDM, I fear for any neighbors who are on workman's comp, their ears shall be raped by a 150 db assault of terror. Hide your children, lock up your wives (and husbands, this is LA), for Timeghoul has risen! Timeghoul is here to fucking menace, destroy, pillage, rape, burn, and put 2 in the pink and 1 in the stink of your betrothed. Metal fucking reigns here, go listen to Ancient VVisdom if you're not down with Bad Ass Billy Gunn and company. Oh you didn't know? Well you're ass better calllllllllll somebody! I'm an ass man :badaboop:

Did this only just get released? I ordered a month ago but it only shipped now, it's the only thing I can see I ordered that might not have been out yet. Eagerly awaiting it's arrival to listen.
