Just downloaded the first song from Adam D and Jesse's sideproject, I was pretty sure I heard somewhere it wasn't going to be metalcore?
Guess that went out the window

Fuck why do they have to autotune out any life that his vocals may have?! Sucks the soul right out of the music. Anyways, I prefer this to KsE but I still feel like I'm listening to a heavy motivational speech...still waiting for Adam D to cover Eye of the Tiger. Mix is too squashed and a bit muddy for my taste...at least on these cans.

Hope Adam shows off his drumming chops in this album. I just hope its not gonna be like Killswitch's latest offering, where the first song melts your tits off and then it just kinda meanders from there into boring crap. Reckoning was alright I guess...

+1 on the Neurosis expectation. I was like, "what? why would they be posting an old album for free download?"

This song is pretty cool, and I love Jesse Leach's vocals. The lyrics are a bit cheesy though. I'm getting tired of motivational "we can change the world's problems if we all unite and become brothers and fight the tyrrany of evil". I admit that I have been guilty of a song or two with this theme in the past, but now I'd rather hear something a little less cheery.

My thoughts EXACTLY. Its just metalcore - same boring ingredients. There's literally nothing inventive in this music and it didn't make me feel anything. Just overwhelmed by a sense of "meh".
