tips on fattening single tracked screams

So this guy has got a bunch of parts that are more or less impossible to double, or at least would take way more time and effort than it's worth...

what can I do to make them sound a bit more doubled?

My first choice would be something like Schwa's CMX or Waves' Doubler. Other than that you could try doubling it in Melodyne and messing with the formants and adding randomized nuances.

oh wow I didn't even think of parallel compression... I've only ever used it on drums but I can see that working pretty well. I'll give it a whirl come mixing time.

Send the vox to an Aux bus.
But some delay and reverb on it.
After that try a compressor...

hmm I've never been able to make that technique work well for me. I'll give it another try, I suppose.
