Interesting. I never heard those Tipton solo albums. My interest is officially piqued, if for nothing else than to hear Cozy Powell rise from the dead. I adore that man's drumming.

He has only one so far "Baptizm Of Fire". I like it and value for what it is, an album of metal with modern influences but not a piece of mallcore. Surely hints of Pantera and Fight are in the album but also bits of punk and the instrumental title song kick some serious ass IMO (btw in that one play Entwistle and Powell too).
I'm sure this one will be a nice tribute to a couple of great musicians which left this plane of existence too soon.
I was reading this morning about this new album of unreleased material. Somewhere in there, Tipton said this was the album he originally took to the major American label that Priest was on (Epic?) and they told him it was too 80s sounding and he needed to get younger musicians and create something more modern.
He said the songs on this release really showed off the capabilities of both Entwistle and Powell.
