This past Friday, May 23, Todd Kerns (Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Toque, Sin City Sinners, The Age Of Electric), played his final show at Count’s Vamp’d as the beloved Las Vegas rock bar will be closing its doors for good on June 28.

Fan-filmed footage, courtesy of Diana Lyons, has since surfaced:

“Welcome To The Jungle” (Guns N’ Roses):

“Ah! Leah!” (Donnie Iris):

“Don’t Tell Me You Love Me” (Night Ranger) and “Always On The Run” (Lenny Kravitz):

“Mean Street” (Van Halen) with special guest Christian Brady (Hellyeah):

“Paradise City” (Guns N’ Roses) and “The Spirit Of Radio” (Rush) with special guest Sebastian Bach:

Todd Kerns previously commented on the impending closure of Count’s Vamp’d:

“Vamp’d has been the epicenter of Rock And Roll in Vegas since it’s opening as Feelgoods. The fact that it is a free standing structure outside of the usual casino system says everything about its independent spirit. Danny and Korie Koker deserve all the love and respect for nurturing a scene that supported both up and comers as well as the well established. Having played there since its inception I feel a very personal connection to its stage, crew, management and staff. Its closure will leave a hole in the heart of the Vegas scene. I will miss it dearly. The thing I’ve come to learn in my 18 years as a Vegas local is an appreciation of Las Vegas’ lack of preciousness about nearly anything. We love and respect all that came before but accept that change is inevitable. The iconic skyline changes every year. I’ve been here since before the NHL, the NFL, Formula One. It is ever growing and in a perpetual state of change. To deny it is to be crushed by it. Vamp’d should be remembered for the good times and not lamented for its eventual absence. Like most things in life we have to find the joy in having had it for all these years rather than focus on its loss. Thank you, Korie. Thank you, Danny. Thank you, Donnie. Thank you Patrick. Thank you, Brian. Thank you to an amazing staff. Thank you to the familiar faces I could reconnect with every time I walked through its doors. Cuz sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name… May 23rd I get to do it one last time making it so much more than just a show. It will be both a memorial and a celebration. I’m gonna have the time of my life… One last time. Always remember to make the most of the good times. They often end up being the glory days. Though Vamp’d is going away the great memories live on. Thank you, Vamp’d.”
