TOJA signed a deal with PURE ROCK RECORDS, a sublabel of well-known PURE STEEL RECORDS! The band is currently working on the new album with an expected 2013 release.

The release date of the TOJA album "(Sad) Songs Of Hope" is October 18th, 2013. The preorder phase will start on October 4th, 2013 in our webshop.

TOJA from Mühlheim (Germany) are our newest band on the Pure Rock-sub label and have released three albums since they were founded in 1997. The quintet is very passionate about melodic hard rock with some metal influences.

Their fourth full-length album "Sad Songs of Hope" is true to their style and convinces with 12 gripping tracks, which all fans of melodic sounds will definitively love. Powerful, sometimes higher vocals meet harmonious catchy choruses and matching keyboard parts; all in the tradition of AOR- and Melodic Metal-bands like the later RAINBOW, harder JOURNEY and sometimes PRETTY MAIDS. The album features hard and straight rock-pieces like the opener "The Storm" or "Free My Mind" and the more metallic title track, but also obligatory lyrical (half)ballads like "Day and Night" and "Waiting", which lighten the album skillfully. TOJA have managed to create a much diversified output which captures all fascinating facets of the genre on one album.
A very interesting chapter for all Hard Rock-fans!

TOJA are very pleased to announce Max "Sethlein" Rudolph as new drummer and mamber. Below you can find a little bio about him.

Born in december 1992 , Max “Sethlein” Rudolph at first hits the cooking pots of his mom and then at the tender age of 7 years already his first drum set. As a member at the “Mainbrass Music and Showband” in Offenbach he learned from the bottom all the skills, that he himself constantly refined. His rock and metal drumming also contains elements from jazz. Filled with various techniques from Marchdrumming there are no limits in his way to play the drums. As multiple champion from Hessen and finally German Championship runners-up led his way across the bands “Silent Wallbreak“, "Terminated" to "Meet My Fist" and now "ToJa".

His motto: Never give up and never stop learning, then there will be no limits.

Founded in 1997 by Tommy Rinn and JJ Thielking the original studio project developed into a live act with performances in and around Germany. In the current occupation, the fifth album entitled "V" was recorded. With Max Rudolph on drums and Ole Dietz on bass an excellent hard rock album was launched with support from Berny Pezalla (guitar) and Willi Limpert (bass).

Real riff-monsters with catchy choruses and sensitive ballads are waiting for the listener. Mixed and mastered by Marc Bugnard at LFT studio.

"V" is a consistent continuation of Tommy's and JJs philosophy, Hard Rock does not match without melody. So you find superb vocal lines and fine guitar solos, and for the first time a pure instrumental on the disc.

An album for anyone who likes melodic Hard Rock.
