Tone on the new betraying the martyrs

Some people will hate this tone, but for some reason, I fucking the main growls sound in this. They sound HUGE!!!! Disregard the emo-ish singing....the singer is great, just not my style at all....its the only part I dislike about this band...but besides that, those vocals are killer!!

Anyone got any ideas on the signal chain? I know hes using a SM7B for tracking...

All I know is that there is a shit load of layering with the vocals. And it seems like there's a lot of automation going on.

Yeah, I could tell there was least doubles going on, but they're are really precise for this type of vocals, gutturals and stuff like this never turn out this well timed when done manually, wonder if they used a doubler plugin...

I take that back, I can hear two different tones going on that the emulators wouldn't be able to pull off

Surely, VocAlign works on this type of vocals too. Haha

They might just be really tight. Not sure if you're into BTBAM, but Tommy double tracks EVERYTHING and the layers are super tight.

Oh, I know nothing about them, just discovered them a few months ago when Sumerian started posting their new material...its awesome though.

Tommy who? I haven't tried finding out who produced it yet.

I'm talking about Tommy from Between the Buried and Me, he's the vocalist. And they usually always work with Jamie King.

Oh shoot, I misread your acronym lol....I didn't realize you were talking about BTBAM lol, but yeah those dubs are usually pretty clean...nothing worse than having horrible dubs.
