TONE PORT UX2

Has anyone here got the tone port ux2? because I cant get a decent bass sound coming out of it, sounds good when playing but once I listen back to it, it sounds all mushy, quite and horrible. The vocal sound isnt to great ethier to be honest. But the guitars sound pretty decent though.
Any suggestions?

I've got a GuitarPort i occasionally use, and I find the same thing- you can get a decent tone out of it, but it takes a LOT of tweaking.
