Lot's of eulogies coming out of Washington, not too much criticism as yet. Your hallowed leader called him the "Greatest and bestest Senator ever in the history of the world, nay the UNIVERSE". (I'm paraphrasing).

I know you're all politically minded. Thoughts?

He had his ups and downs. He did some good things and not-so-good things. I'm just glad he's the last Kennedy in the Senate.

You mean was the last Kennedy in the Senate. That said, although this may be wishful thinking on both our parts, the legislative system may work a great deal smoother if most of the representatives were dead.

DW, aren't you scared the CIA is looking at you forum posts right now and putting you on file as a potential terrorist/arsonist/metalhead?

Tbh, I'd kill to work for the CIA. Heh...literally. I'll never be able to work with a TS clearance anymore, though. My wife is Italian and I am a resident of Italy, although still a citizen of the US. Those are automatic deal breakers.

Haha Chris, I might actually have a shot at it. My dad's cousin works for Navy Intelligience, doing top secret stuff, and apparently knows people in the CIA and the NSA, and he said after I complete my education, if I wanted a job he could probably get me one in either.

Do it! You'll start out as a paper pusher unless you're uber hardcore and want to go into clandestine operations. No matter what, though, if you get a TS clearance, you'll have it for life as long as you don't sling crack or something in the meantime. It's a PAIN IN THE ASS to get it though. A good friend and former colleague of mine is now working for the DIA in Langley and just going from a Secret to a TS just about made her pull all her hair out. I've still got my clearance but I doubt I'll ever use it again.

I could probably get back on if I had a particular skill they needed, such as being some elite hacker or something. If you stand out from the rest of the crowd, they can make a waiver for anything. The trick is to stand out and have something that no one else has.
