I've done a test mix with Toontrack Superior Drummer 3 and adrum kit I built. I did bounce the drums and mixed it outside SD.

Hey, sounds solid!
I'd prefer less sustain for a kick in metal mixes (including room mics), but that's my personal preference. Your drum mix sounds cool - would be nice to hear them in the mix as well.

What kick did you use? I really like the amount of snares of SuperiorDrummer 3.

Kick is the Pearl Masterworks 18x22. Snare is the Ludwig Coliseum.

Yeah, there is definitely a huge collection of snares. But no matter how amazing sounding SD3 is I still hope there will be a MEtal Foundry 2.0.
