Found this link here and tell me if you guys agree with there list and if its in order!!! I actually think its pretty fair in my opinion!

ALTHOUGH, I do feel they left a few amps out!!!

Totally disagree with the list. Should start with jcm 800 followed by the SLO then the dual rec then the 5150

Not a great list, there are some pretty glaring omissions - VHT/Fryette, Bogner, Krank, Soldano, Rivera, etc.

4. Uberschall
5. 2-channel Dual Rec (TS mandatory)

There's you're real top 5. And those 5 are probably all you'd ever need.

They're in production, and I hope based on votes, but still, I cannot see why anyone would prefer the + to the regular 6505, and the 2203 is really the greatest metal amp ever, no contest. Everything that means anything in the history of Metal was done on one or a very very close derivative, as picture 13 cleverly illustrates.

Funny to see the JVM in number 2 as well...considering the amount of disdain that amp gathers, it beat out ye beloved 6505...

I feel a couple of them could have been taken out, Marshall's mainly lol. But Mesa is #1 so im all good with the list lol. But also, i believe they were voted on the list.

Take away the Bogner mod and the JCM 800 still sits in the top 5. And my list is based on the results those amps have given on albums over the last 15-25 years.

if excluding the last amp from the list, it looks pretty standard metal amps to me over all. Ola, since you've most likely played 90% of those, what do you think?

While I know "heavy" is a very subjective thing, I got to say that the heaviest tone I ever heard out of a guitar came out of a JCM 800.

I'm surprised that no one else is surprised by two HK's and no Mark4.
