Tour – Report Part II by Danny

17.04.05 Ludwigsburg (D) – Rockfabrik

Directly after the show in Aabenraa (Denmark) me and tomorrow’s eve drove to Ludwigsburg (D).
It took around 9 1 / 2 hours to arrive. :Smug: The sleep in the van wasn’t a good sleep, so you don’t
recognize if you were sleeping 1 hour, or 2 or just a half hour.
We stopped around 3 times at a gas station
to get some “short” food and drinks. After every gas station it was time to get back to sit your ass off… :hotjump:
When we arrived in Ludwigsburg we needed another 30 Minutes to find the Hotel,
we passed around 3 times the fucking snake-statue….
however we just had to take the left way after the statue to get the right way to the hotel…
after we asked a gas station dude, we had found it :worship:

The hotel was cool…..just the owner was a little strange….they were thai-girls all the place, hehe ;)
no no it wasn’t a brothel !!! :headbang:

The major problem was the sleep; the singer from Tomorrow’s Eve had to get some much more sleep,
if he wouldn’t get more sleep he could lost his voice and wouldn’t be able to do the 2nd! Gig.
Well, we left Aabenraa at around 4am and arrived around 1:30pm at Ludwigsburg…..ate a little
and it was too few hours left to get some sleep…so just get a shower and then again in van to drive
to the Rockfabrik.

The way to get the equipment in the location was bad.
We had to get the stuff on a kinda trolley and drive it up to floor 1... :yell:
The location itself was very big. At the upper floor was the location were the bands had to play,
downstairs was a very big place, where major bands like rage played. I remember there was a poster
for a gig with Brainstorm and Mercenary next time.
damn, the place looked so great, the walls were over and over painted with like fantasy covers or official work like the
the three sculls from rage. the sculptures at some places were also awesome, you could touch their
big teeth or tongues :loco:

the concert itself was cool. there was also a local supportband called Autumnblaze. I still don’t
know which genre they are. the guitarist told me they always got problems to get their music into
a genre…..thats what mags always do o_O
actually the whole concert was well done, I went forward to do some headbanging for raincheck,
to animate some people to do the same, but I think no one didn’t it, well who cares I had fun :headbang:
merchandise was again well spreaded….but damn the fucking wall didn’t want to hold the t-shirts
on it. Michael and me had to “re-stick” the t-shirts all the time...it was too warm in there,
so I think the stuff got too loosely on the wall. :yuk: (hope this was right english…)

I remember there was a nice girl with a dude from outside germany with an “I” t-shirt and forgot to take
her concert card back…which was for Porcupine Tree…don't worry she got back her card :)
..damn, they were touring through germany
while I was on tour. I hope they’ll tour to the right time next time !!
Deadwing is awesome…..but that’s an other band.

oh yay, before I forgot the food was really nice !! they have grilled some steaks at the
“multi-storey car park” <-- lol that’s what babelwish translated :p
they tasted really lovely.
Also wanted to say here the dudes from Rockfabrik were all very friendly. Would like to meet
their place again at a normal time to see whats going on there and what girls visit the location :hotjump:

puh, after doing the bill we drove to the hotel. Michael and me went to tomorrow’s eve’s room and
took some beer and talked a little about tour and so on…..oh and watched a 16-softporn movie in tv..
really sucked, because of not showing everything, haha :loco:

actually it was nice day, also about seeing some nice locations while driving to the rockfabrik.
the only negative was there weren’t enough people, could had be a little more, but was ok.

ok, hope you guys enjoyed the second part of the tour.
stay tuned for the third part.
