Look at this great find!

As some may know, Tower is closing its doors.
Currently, all CDs are 30% off, with a then additional $10 off.
Most is picked over, but I found that MDB collection with the box sets.
Perfect for me, as I previously only had two of their discs.

The booklet is great. It has a VERY lengthy interview with Aaron.
Not knowing much about their history, I found it very interesting.

So two points:
1) Make it to Tower Records soon if there is one by you for some good deals
2) The MDB box set is hella-cool!

I absolutely love that boxed set. I bought it this summer at Virgin Records, and thought it a bit overpriced. I couldn't resist. It's MDB! haha

My only complaint with the box set is that there is no detail as to where each song originally appeared (As opposed to the KATATONIA box where it tells you which album or EP the track is from).

Maybe that is on purpose, so that in your mind you don't think of a song from one era or another, and that you consider the whole package as simply "My Dying Bride"

Oh, I had never even noticed that. I know that Black Sessions has the albums listed, and was happy. When I saw "Wait Outside" on the track listing, I was like, I've never heard this song in my life, and so it went on to tell that it was part of the Viva Emptiness sessions. I'm glad they included that song, and love it. Anyway, I think you may be right about the My Dying Bride as a whole statement. Aaron always has some deep meaning behind why he does things.
