I made me a best of nightingale CD and recognized that much lyrics are so tragic and sad. "So long (still I wonder)", "Alonely", "Remorse and Regret"...
I like such stuff.... it cuts deep....even more if it's familiar

UNICORN! just about every song and strangely it doesn't make me feel sad, rather because I feel like the voice in the song, Dan makes me feel better somehow with those lyrics because I've been there too

Yes, the Worlds Apart Lyrics are awesome, but the song is not. :-/
I read them while listening to "The Wake" and I cried.

Yes Kenneth, the Unicorn lyrics mostly have this "sad love" feeling, great.

"misery" has a funny kind of feel to it...
the melody and the hammond(?) sound is pretty happpy...
and there's dan in his melancholic voice singing about misery....
