Tribite band on America's Got Talent???

Ok I'm trippin' I've never watched this show but I believe it's a rip off of "American Idol" (which I've never watched either) am I right? Anyways this all girl Ramones tribute band I know from out here called the Hormones have been selected to be on this show. On one hand I'm stoked for 'em but on the other a tribute band? Really?? If tehy like a Ramones tribute,The Maidens are a shoe in for this!!

That is kinda wierd. Courtney and I sat in with a band called Marishi-ten (who have a new cd out by the way - not with us on it though) for an audition for that show. Never heard back from them. LOL! There is a new show on AXS tv about the greatest tribute bands. They are shooting it live every Monday at the Roxy in Hollywood. Our buds in Damage Inc, most AWESOME tribute to Metallica ever, are going to be on next month around the 20th. They did not choose any female tributes this season for some reason. Perhaps you all need to post on their boards about us. *wink wink* that would be awesome!

aren't all those shows basically "tribute" shows? All they do is get people to sing karaoke.

Yeah no idea why axs.tv just ignored one of the biggest tribute bands out there. None of the other bands had to campaign - they jsut got selected for some reason.
