Florida-based metallers TRIVIUM have cracked the Top 10 at Active Rock Radio with their new single, "Until The World Goes Cold". The scintillating new single marks TRIVIUM's first Top 10 at the format and it continues to grow with over 2 million streams to date and additional 3.5 million views of the track's official music video. Taken from TRIVIUM's acclaimed new LP, "Silence In The Snow", "Until The World Goes Cold" enters the Top 10 on its 24th consecutive week on the Active Rock chart, making it the longest charting song on the current chart. TRIVIUM frontman Matt Heafy said that "Until The World Goes Cold" is about "witnessing and realizing what the lifelong purpose and what the goal in everything is." He added: "It's about striving through that and sacrificing everything you have to sacrifice in order to get that." Having just wrapped a hugely successful U.S. headline tour, TRIVIUM will return to the road this spring alongside SEVENDUST and LIKE A STORM for a run of North American dates. The trek gets underway April 26 at the Varsity Theater in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will see TRIVIUM making several stateside festival appearances at Welcome To Rockville (April 30), Fort Rock (May 1), Carolina Rebellion (May 7), Northern Invasion (May 14-15), Rock On The Range (May 20-22) and Rock'n Derby (May 22). Produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette (SLASH, ALTER BRIDGE, THE AMITY AFFLICTION) and mixed by Josh Wilbur (GOJIRA, LAMB OF GOD), TRIVIUM's seventh studio album, "Silence In The Snow" stands as a long gestating creative milestone for the acclaimed band. The collection had its genesis moment back in 2007 and was directly influenced by the time TRIVIUM spent touring alongside the legendary HEAVEN & HELL that year. Ultimately, it would take eight years before they felt equipped to tackle the challenging work of weaving their classic influences into a modern record. Fueled by the inspiration of true classic metal — spanning BLACK SABBATH and RAINBOW, IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST, PANTERA and SLAYER, MEGADETH and METALLICATRIVIUM challenged themselves to attain similar levels of greatness, taking on vocal coaches and guitar lessons to further their creative evolution. The result is extraordinary, bridging the history of hard rock and metal while simultaneously powering it forward into the future. TRIVIUM is: Matt Heafy (vocals, guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), Paolo Gregoletto (bass) and Paul Wandtke (drums).
