MANNEPENIS
Mannepenis is a band from Stavanger Norway, and consists of four young musicians aged 18 to 20,
We play hard and brutal Porn Metal (Thrash / Black Metal with sexual and funny lyrics) in both
Norwegian and English.
The band has been around since the beginning of 2006 and has now built up a solid fan base
and a "good" reputation in Stavanger. Among other things, Mannepenis is famous for their live performances.
These are based in shocking the audience with everything from pink dresses, excessive amount of nails, flowers, dildos and other toys for adults. Not to mention the two deceased band members, Øystein and Morten - a cow- and a goatskulls.
Exept for the dead maskots, the rest of the band is very vivid on stage and cooperates a lot with tne audience. In addition, Mannepenis has a good attitude and strong respect for their audience and concert promoters. Mannepenis is, after all, not a punkband ...
On the live front, they have played in all three scenes that are currently in use at Folken (the biggest and most respected venue in Stavanger, Norway), they have played several times on the youth club Metropolis in Stavanger, Kulturkafeen (the Culture Café) in Arendal (Small town next to Kristiansand, Norway), Sandnes Culture House and played at the 06 AMPfest headLinet AMPfest 07 (First metal-only fastival in Stavanger)
