When I was younger these things sucked. They were the cheap way to get some distortion for those who couldn't afford a decent tube head. I should have purchased a couple hundred if I had known. Everything eventually comes back as that vintage have to have piece.

I have one of those but in a not so good condition. I don't remember well but I paid about $US300-400. Never seen one going for a price like that!!!

It's one of my favorite Tube screamers, it's "silkier" sounding than any other TS I have.

As far as I know those things never sucked, back in the 80's you couldn't get any good metal distortion out of a stock JCM800 without a boost like this or a SD1.
You should have bought a hundreds really lol
