Now that I'm recognizing Turisas more and more...the (previously posted) new tracks are good but not nearly as good as these imo...

Yeah, those two new tracks are nowhere near as good as their previous material. Hopefully the rest of the album's better.

The 2-new tracks posted seem to be the only real highlights imo. Seems the new stuff is a bit over the top as far as orchestration / symphony stuff...too much going on? Credit to them for trying however.

Cursed Be To Iron (previous album) is so raw and powerful...much better guitar tone. Totally hooked on this one!

By chance off the top of your head...any band rec.'s similar to that sound / style that Turisas displays here? And I don't even mind (though typically not a fan of) that level of scratchy / growly vocals. Probably should ask this in a new thread but while we're at it I guess...
