Turning rebellion into money - Why old rockers are back on stage ?

I really don't see a problem with a band cashing in, as long as they can still get the job done. If I go to a concert, I want to be entertained, bottom line! If an older band can still do that, and I'm willing to pay to see them, then what's the problem?

I would certainly rather see an older band than just about any new band these days. I just don't relate with most of the new music of today. Sure there are a few bands here and there that I like, but compared to when I was in high school, I just don't get as excited about new music. I'm not sure if it's because I'm older, or if the music just plain sucks these days.

It may be a little bit of both!

Some old bands are definitely in it for the moolah, but some people really do have a sincere passion for what they do, and will do it as long as they can. But unfortunately, those people seem to be rare nowadays or are just not really that well known in the music industry...
