i wouldn't go that far, but it's decent. best tracks are isolation shell and pimps,bitches, whatever.. Shame they lost their keyboard player as that was part of what made delirium veil one of my favorite powermetal albums ever.

Well, that's kind of why I like it. Delirium was amazing too, but I like the rawer sound of Swinelords without keyboards. Before you could kind of lump them together with bands like Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica, but with this one I think they've set themselves apart from that. I love strato and SA, but I think Twilightning are a bit more interesting and mature sounding. I'm not even sure I would say they are power metal after Swinelords.

they've always been way different than stratovarius and sonata arctica to me. Unless you just meant them being power metal, then that's true. But I like them for their unique vocals, awesome guitars and that sorta 80s metal sound.

they are still fucking good, and i'd agree they are more straightforward kickass metal now and their new album is great.
