I just got my order form for Playoff tickets. I am so excited. This year the Twins might actually make it to the Playoff's, Unless there is a Strike. Having Season tickets does have it's advantages.

That is the only thing that is pissing me off....As long as this strike shit is worked out we will be in the playoffs and I(being a baseball fan for my entire life and I'm 26)think we could do well in the playoffs! I, being from arizona, also don't want a strike to see if we repeat. I will say that it will be ironic if a team that wasn't even going to exist this year beats the highest priced team,the idiotic yankees, in the playoffs.
I am a Huge Baseball Fan, My Living Room is A Shrine To the game, and I feel this is one of the stupidest things there is in baseball. Just because Bart is Dead is no reason to keep Pete out of the Hall. I cannot beleive that they are not going to let Pete in, all he did was gamble, and that looks pretty small compared to all the problems there are now. This is a huge injustice.
I'm glad the Twins are going to make the playoffs also. But only because it increases my chances of watching the Yankees in person. I grew up in ND/MN, but have always liked the Yankees since I started watching baseball in the mid 80's. But it's nice to go to Metrodome and have a full house again.
Baseball is a clusterfuck operation. And this is coming from an avid NBA and boxing fan, and I say that "baseball is a clusterfuck operation" with total confidence. I hope everyone that truly does enjoy the sport (as a kid, i played football and basketball, baseball never appealed to me anyway) spends thier money watching minor league baseball and tells the major league to suck thier ass.
