I'm not one to get on a soapbox but the fight against breast cancer is a cause that's very near and dear to my heart.

Right now the Breast Cancer site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman . It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site!

My sister, who is a breast cancer survivor, will be participating in the Komen Foundation Race For The Cure on Mother's Day.
If you'd like to make a donation ( large or small!) - please visit this website:

Feel free to pass this info on to all your friends! Thanks for helping!

Aja: you rule, your the best! I'll plug this on Heavy Metal Rock 'n' Roll.

My mom died from breast cancer.

Drink 6 cups of green tea a day.

Thanks everyone for helping and for sharing your stories. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, Todd. Thanks for sharing the health tip. Green tea is rich in anti-oxidants and a great natural way to support your immune system.

But you may want to wait a little while until the chemotherapy has run it's course before you recommend this to your mom, Bichmaker, so the anti-oxidants don't interfere with her recently completed treatment. I've heard that they can do that. Unfortunately, with chemo, ya gotta get sick to be well! I'll try to find more info about it and pm you. All the best to your mum!
