ALL SHALL PERISH Australian Tour Crash Kills Two - Dec. 18, 2007
Australia's The Sydney Morning Herald reports that two men have died and four have been injured after a minibus carrying men involved in a heavy-metal band tour has crashed down an embankment of the Pacific Highway.

The minibus was in a convoy carrying the ALL SHALL PERISH and THE RED SHORE "deathcore-metal" bands on their Christmas Carnage tour.

A spokeswoman for the tour organizer said that members of the Califorinia-based ALL SHALL PERISH were not involved in the crash. She was unable to provide details about the dead men.

The bands were due to perform at Hermann's bar at the University of Sydney tonight.

One man was pronounced dead at the crash site, while a second man died at Coffs Harbour hospital after being trapped for an hour in the minibus after the minibus veered off the road and rolled down an embankment near Cunninghams Bridge at Moonee Beach in northern NSW at 7am.

Four other male passengers are in a stable condition.

The bus had been carrying eight passengers, all men in their 20s, when it veered off the road, said Ambulance spokeswoman Clare Pemberton.

"There are varying degrees of injury with the other six patients, multiple fractures, abrasions, mainly cuts and bruises for the majority of them," she told Macquarie Radio.

"Most of them are walking. They seem to have come out okay."

Police have closed the highway in both directions, and have urged motorists to avoid the area if possible.

"There will be local traffic diversions in place, but we are urging people to avoid the area if at all possible," a police spokesman said.

at first i was like, "aww that sucks they have like 1 pretty ok album" but then i remembered that i was thinking of HEAVEN SHALL BURN. even the names of all these inflames-core bands sound the same!@

well, i mean, its kinda cool. it implies that ALL SHALL PERISH but its probably too boastful for these guys.

k just checked youtube, they are more brutal and shreddy than i expected, still plenty of hardcore/breakdowns. not gonna buy their album, but its alright.

If you read the article, it said 2 people died and they werent sure who. now it's revealed!

THE RED SHORE Singer Reportedly Killed In Australian Car Crash - Dec. 18, 2007
The West Australian reports that the lead singer of the Geelong, Victoria, Australia-based heavy metal band THE RED SHORE has died in a crash on a New South Wales highway, according to the group's booking agent.

An employee for Pan Studios in Geelong said the company had received news that the singer, believed to be about 23, had died in the crash.

The group's driver and merchandiser had also been killed, she said.

The men died after their minivan veered off the Pacific Highway north of Coffs Harbour and hit a tree.

One man died at the scene and seven others were taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital.

One of the injured men, a 30-year-old who had been trapped in the van wreckage for an hour, died in hospital from serious head injuries.

THE RED SHORE were touring with U.S. death metal outfit ALL SHALL PERISH on the "Christmas Carnage" tour, when the crash occurred.

Both bands played at Brisbane's Club Phoenix on Tuesday night and were scheduled to play at Hermann's Bar at Sydney University on Wednesday night.

The van carrying eight men, most aged in their 20s, plunged down an embankment before rolling into a tree at about 7am (AEDT).

NSW police later said the two men killed were aged 22 and 27, and said relatives had asked that their names not be released.

Jarrod, a barman at The National Hotel in Geelong, where the band has played, described the lead singer as quiet and "chilled out".

"He was a nice, quiet guy, contrary to the band's music," Jarrod said.

Sally Laver, the owner of Pan Studios, said THE RED SHORE's musical career had just started to take off.

The band drew crowds of up to 200 people in their home town of Geelong, she said.

"They're one of our bigger bands," she said.

Ms Laver said the singer was "wonderful."

"He was a very sensitive young man.

"He was very passionate about everything he did."
