“...as funny as the first rounds of American Idol...”
“Writer-director Guy Schingoethe, an indefatigable comic actor, pulls possessed performances from his cast “-Chicago reader

“reliable musical-spoof humor...Leslie Kerrigan, as an emotionally erratic choreographer, and Zenna Wise, playing Goose in drag, add some comic color....” -TimeOut Chicago

"...gloriously cheesy..."

"...laugh-worthy moments...especially when the ensemble re-creates moments from the film, or performs the musical's goofy production numbers."

"Matt Russell, as Maverick, doesn't look anything like Tom Cruise -- but he has the squint-and-smile thing down pat. It is a canny impression..." -Chicago Tribune

“You’ll walk out of Danger Zone reconnected with the classic memories from Top Gun, but viewed through a completely absurd lens. Then you’ll go home and pull out that worn out VHS—you know the one. It used to rest between ET and Beverly Hills Cop on your shelf.”
