They start in St. Pete! A bit of a drive for me, but it beats the hell out of a 12 hour plane ride and over a thousand dollars spent! One note though: couldn't they have scheduled it on the 8th instead of the 9th, a Sunday? :p

Woohoo!! :kickass:

I drove 10 hrs to see them during their last jaunt over here, so I don't mind driving 2 hrs to Cleveland for the show...It is also on a Sunday..

What pkg are you getting? I just bought the Gold Pkg. I was leaning towards the Platinum, with the guitar lesson, but I have bothered Gus enough over the last year lol.

Ehh, I considered the Gold option. To me it's justifying if it's worth the extra 30 bucks to shake hands with the guys and have Gus sign my own 600 siggy. :p

Then I wonder what the hell I would do with my guitar after said meet and greet. I'm too paranoid to leave it in my car and I would keep knocking into people down on the floor with that giant-ass guitar case. Maybe they'd let me play a tune with them? :D I'd spend the money on the Gold package for that!

I would be way too paranoid to bring any of my Gus guitars to the show. 1-I would have to leave it in the car afterwards, no thanks! Not in October if it's cold and I'm not dragging one around with me all night. I will get some other stuff signed. I took some killer photos at the last Firewind show in Montreal and the two Ozzy shows I went to, I had a few enlarged so maybe I will ask Gus to sign them for me.

I think 45 bucks is still cheap, Even 200 bucks for the guitar lesson is cheap IMO

Oh man this sounds just too great:
"meet and greets with the band with exclusive 3D posters and laminates,"
" as well as a Platinum Package featuring a private 20 minute guitar lesson with Gus G. "

I know that Artist Arena are pretty good in that stuff. I kinda know this from Iced Earth, when they came to Switzerland in Feb '09. I bought those VIP tickets, but Artist Arena cancelled it, because of not enough intrest. I called those guys because it was like 1 week before the show and sometimes... well I was so afraid to not be able to get any tickets one week before the show. In the end it was no problem, I hung out infront of the place the gig was, like 3 hours before the show and met almost all the people from IE, so I kinda had that meet and greet for free, hehe:)

long story, I know.. but it was great!
This is the first time I read that anyone is doing this Guitar lesson thingy.. and I think it's cool, but also a bit a sell-out thing. I would do it too if I was in Gus's position, but nah.. yeah.. it's a border thing. I hope everyone is enjoying the Packages they booked, especially the ones with the lesson!

too bad there is none available in Europe!
