UAD v6.0

UAD has released v6.0 of their software. This includes Pro Tools improvements, OS X Lion compatibility, and three new plug-ins, including the new Ampex ATR-102 Master Tape plug-in. I'm just as tempted as ever. Fuck their prices

Now that I'm listening on my studio monitors to the demo in the video, I find it a bit odd. First of all, the plug-in is much louder than the plug-in disabled (typical UAD demo). Secondly, the plug-in doesn't sound THAT similar to the actual hardware. The plug-in is much wider, which makes the voice "feel" less glued to the music. I don't really prefer either one, but it's just a little weird they dont sound more similar
