Uli Roth's Upcoming Tour - Lots of Scorpions Material

Uli says he'll be playing songs from every Scorpions album he was on. The tour comes to Chicago Feb. 17 at Reggie's. This is really cool, now I don't feel so bad about missing the Scorpions' farewell tour.

Also their setlist is the same old stale one they have been playing for MANY years.

You would see more deep tracks at an MSG or Uli show.

I want to go to Reggies, but it is part of some guitar clinic and I think its $50.
Would love to see him but probably won't shell out $50 for it.

On Reggie's web site, it says tickets are $20-24. The VIP packages and Sky Academy cost a lot more but they're optional.

I just got my ticket for this. (While I was at it, I got my Ragnarokkr ticket too.) It was only $20 and I don't have to go to the guitar clinic.

He got Henning Basse (ex-Metalium) to do lead vocals on this tour. Awesome! I don't like Uli's vocals. I don't think anyone does.

I used to love METALIUM actually. Not that I don't like them, just haven't listened to them in years.
Pretty cool he got an experienced German vocalist to perform the Scorps material.
