Underated Rhythm Geniuses?

Ok, yes it's predictable I'm going to add Bay Area bands
to the list. Personally, I think Death Angel, Forbidden
And Vio-lence had cool rhythm.
Old Metallica I think had good rhythm.
Vicious Rumors used to write good rhythm, but I haven't seen anything decent from them lately.

-OfficerNice.

How about The H-Team, EXODUS guitar's; Gary Holt & Rick Hunolt, Forbidden, Twisted Into Form's; Craig Locicero & Tim Calvert.
Vio-Lence's Eternal Nightmares; Robb Flynn & Phil Demmel.
Laaz Rockits; City Gonna Burn twin guitar attack of; Arron Jellum & Phil Kenttner. Slayer's Jeff & Kerry........Machine Heads....Burn Your eyes lineup; Robb & Logan..................I'm still thinking..........

don't forget MIKE CLARK of suicidal tendencies. that guys rocks and the sad thing is he gets no recognition. this one's for you Mr. Clark.
long live ST!!!!

Tommy Baron of CORONER. I think he was the very best guitarist to ever play metal BY FAR.
He and Coroner were and still are so underrated, its sad.
If anyone here doesnt own "Punishment For Decadence"
"No More Color" and "Mental Vortex" then you are missing out on 3 absolutely amazing, brilliant metal records.
Their live shows were incredible.
In fact of all the tons of metal shows Ive been to, all 3 of their tours stand out among the most memorable shows Ive ever seen.

Rock on HUNGER OF THE UNDEAD

You are so very correct! Vetterli/Baron is a real genius when it comes to guitarplaying and composing.

I'd also like to add Jim Durkin, Eric Meyer and Denis D'Amour to the mix.
