Unisonic (Kiske + Hansen)

Well, unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last 3 months, you've no doubt heard about the new Unisonic album featuring MICHAEL KISKE AND KAI HANSEN.... TOGETHER.... AGAIN. It also features Mandy from Gotthard and the rhythm section of Pink Cream 69, Dennis and Kosta.

The output is seemingly more in a hard rock direction than Keepers fans were expecting, but I really like it. Not every song is a classic, mind you, but there are a fair share of great songs. Then again, I wouldn't say every song on the 2 Keepers albums was a classic either, but there you go.

So far, it's my favorite release of 2012. I hope these guys are planning on hitting the states in support of this release because it rocks. Great to hear Kiske is still in top form and this is surely his best release in 25 years.

Never hear of them, but the music sounds like dated slow Helloween

I'm not into the fandom you are, but I will gonna get the album eventually. It's available at NEH but too expensive, same with the preorder at Amazon. WOW has it at a sensible price but 7-10 days shipping, I hate those backorders, moreover since I live outside USA and international shipping can be a drag sometimes.
But yes I'm gonna get sit sometime throughout the year.

I also hope that people in general give them credit for what they're doing, instead of just praying to see Kiske and Hansen (where's the respect for Ward and Zafiriou?)playing old pumpkin songs.

Great to know you liked the album, I like it very much too and I bought the limited edition with the bonus track "Over the rainbow", It is one of my favorite songs of the album too....I saw them live twice in my country....the gigs were simply awesome

So jealous I'd love to see them live and am hoping they'll tour North America.
