So some of you know about this band from an obscure post by Haughm on the old TER board, brought to our attention by JayKeeley. Here's the new EP, still primitive folk in essence with "chantlike" vocals, as was the Heimliches Deutschland album, but this one uses more experimental elements and even uses distorted guitars at times! (actually, only on Hex Hild). So once again Markus Wolff puts the poems of German poets to his unique brand of primitivist folk/experimental/metal(?), and as it turns out, it's fairly interesting! If anything, people here interested in folk metal might like the third track at least, but might be turned off from the rest of the material, so I included two samples for those who haven't heard the band at all before.
So anyway, this is an unofficial recommendation out of turn, so it's not meant to be stickied or counted as my official recommendation. I just thought I'd make it up because perhaps Erik and/or MFJ and/or someone else might be interested.
