Never Forever
I cease to remember
This day of cold
In the sweet time of November
The scents of the snow
Of frosted valleys below
And the smells of burning embers
Setting the frost aglow
Here atop the mountain's crest
I look out across the forest
Trying to remember what happened here
So that I may lay my mind to rest
The smell of winter entices me
To dream of things;everything in mind is free
Images spin around in my head
Desperately trying to make sense of this mystery
All at once I experience the Janus personalities of chaos
The both sides of gain and loss
Internal war, external peace
Like the forever struggle of tree vs moss
Nothing more to say, nothing more to remember
These dreams swept out of my head by winds of November
Nightfall is here, the wolves are in choir
No light left, save for the last burning ember
So this is good-bye
As the landscape withers and die
Under the blackness of night, all fades away
and the fire gives off a last crackling cry
I cease to remember
This day of cold
In the sweet time of November
The scents of the snow
Of frosted valleys below
And the smells of burning embers
Setting the frost aglow
Here atop the mountain's crest
I look out across the forest
Trying to remember what happened here
So that I may lay my mind to rest
The smell of winter entices me
To dream of things;everything in mind is free
