We're sure many of you expected to be hearing us live from the Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend, Indiana today, but that just was not meant to be. Due to legal concerns regarding the broadcast, THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW will not be broadcasting from THE MELODICROCK.COM 10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW. We wish Andrew McNeice and the team there the best of luck with the show Saturday.
This left Neeley and Chris with the thought of what to do for Saturday's show. Since this issue came up late in the week, we scrambled but still found some great things to do for a normal live show, which you will be getting tonight. First up, former-current-former (and current again??) Anthrax vocalist Joey Belladonna is out touring solo, working on new material and preparing for a big Halloween show with Lizzy Borden at the end of October. Since there are a lot of things going on n the Belladonna camp right now, we figured that now might just be the time to talk to Joey about everything happening in the legendary vocalists career right now. I'm sure we'll play some Anthrax tunes, some Belladonna tunes, and Joey will be calling into the show to discuss what he's working on today.
Additionally, great CMS friend Sheldon Tarsha has been invited to come back on the show. Sheldon has a brand new single out, which we will feature on the show, and we're sure he has plenty of new stories to share since the last time we talked to him as he "battled" his former employer Steven Adler by doing the rival show to Adler's 3/5 GNR reunion at the Key Club a few months ago. If you've heard Sheldon on the show before, you know that he can more than hold his own with Neeley and Chris, and he's a favorite of the guys. This one should be fun.
