Update on new album release?

Just wondering what the latest is with the new album which I assume has long been mixed/mastered? Obviously with SPV going bankrupt earlier this year, the album has been heavily delayed, and I would imagine the band is looking to release it through a new label.

Any chance of a small update, and when we can expect the album to be released?

well, i met niclas yesterday at an in flames show, and he said it might be released in march, with a tour following.

i'm looking forward to both!

Yep, they're aiming for release during march. I myself heard it from Steve at show with Samael and Paradise Lost in Malmö some weeks back. Definitely waiting anxiously.

Way too may albums from great bands coming out this year.

Borknagar, Dark Tranquillity, Engel, Eventide, Vintersorg...also the possbility of Fission, Gravisphere, Waterclime and Wintersun. Grr, there goes all my money.

I was crossing my fingers for For My Pain and Nightwish, but I know that is out of the question.

Does anyone know is Passenger is dead?

Can't remember and couldn't find out, could have been just a nightmare. From Engelin's twitter, it seems like the date has been confirmed.

Damn it. Not that I'm tired of listening to JPN Edition, but Six Feet Deep intrigues me, and chances of having some extras on Euro-release in general, really.
