I saw in a local music newspaper here in Chicago that Opeth are playing the House of Blues with High on Fire and Nachtmystium.

The Chicago date is Wed Sept 24 at HOB Chicago.
Maybe Nachtmystium are only on the Chicago date???

The ticketmaster listing says that HOF is playing at the HOB Chicago show. I didn't see anything about Nachtmystium although it wouldn't surprise me considering they are based in Illinois. And yes, HOF owns. Matt Pike is one bona fide badass guitarist.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, it'd be great Nachtmystium was on the whole tour though.

The other bands mentioned don't quite fit with Opeth, imo.
But at the same time, who does?
I think an Opeth/Meshuggah tour would be nutty. They like each other's
music, they're both Swedish, and they both rule, so... why not?

I saw HOF twice last year in da
UK, 1st gig, not so good, it was
at the start of their tour.
2nd time, end of tour, we were blown
away,
support band was, "Pelican."
