US tour

not that it's untrue. our economy sucks, were being invaded by mexico, we're about to elect one of two dumbasses as president, we're surounded by my pals of the black, latin and white veriety, our education system sucks, we're geting more socialist all the time, our drinking age is 21, we're overweight, arrogant, ignorant, and selfish, and to top it off, the eastern third of the country has no thrash bands.:mad:

Whats wrong with being sorrounded by people that arent white? we should all be put in a mixer and come out brown. Mexicans probably do all the jobs that US citizens dont want to do. And youre scared of socialism? Think the commies are gonna come get you or something? :D
I agree though, youre education system is quite bad but hey, its bad all around most of the world. And drinking age is 21.....well thats just bollocks. Youre just inducing 16 year old kids to smoke crack(insert any other drug), instead of having a beer.

that whole thing about the mexicans doing all the jobs americans won't do is bullshit. if the mexicans werent around there would be no one that would do those jobs at such low pay so the employers would have to raise wages which would bring in employees. really whats happening is the latin americans are being taken advantage of.
second i didn't say i hate brown or black people i said i dont like my pals, that's a cultural term not a racial one. in fact i think i know more white my pals than blacks ones.

and third sociallism isn't inherently bad, look at norway and iceland, but here it just won't work. there are two many generations of lower class people that have grown up believing that they dont have to work, and they can just get free money from the rest of us that do. i dont think youve lived here and seen them. they expect that the government will take care of them rather than have them take care of themselves. theyre so fucking infantile i pitty them rather than hate them.

and as for the beer thing, that is a problem but also when we are old enough to drink, most of us have no idea how to do so safely. you guys grow up drinking around your family who can tell you when to slow down and how to take care of yourself when your good and pissed but we're handed a gun and have never been tought how to shoot properly.

we have similar problems over here in the uk we have loads of europeans taking the jobs
too many people on benefits and not workin
and we grow up drinkin around our families yes, they tell u how to take care of yourself but when your with friends its completly different
and we also have a dumbass ruler of the country,
on our downside we dont get guns :(
 
wow. this thread was de-railed from the get-go. but it is a good discussion nonetheless. i would really like to go over there and see for myself what the social and political climate is like rather than just read it in books. with luck i'll get into the study abroad program at university.

:) Sorry I jumped at you dude, I totally took most of your comments the wrong way. I myself come from a family that has emigrated in the past so I have a soft spot for that. You cant really stop that kind of thing, its just the way it goes. Im sure your family once went to the US to live better, Im sure you must have a european or other background. :)

I also took the other comment as racism, I live in a place where a lot of people reject foreigners and theyre so enclosed in their little world that they dont see outside of their little society. Unlike you and I who accept other cultures and want to learn from them as I read in your post.

I have visited the US many times, in fact Im going over there in 2 weeks, Ive never catually worked there but both my sister and brother do. However I dont have a response for what you wrote. I was speaking from personal experience.

And last, I do hate that drinking age 21 thing, Its like, Ive been drinking since I was 15 and when I went to the US, I couldnt! I had to have my bro and sis buy it for me, and I couldnt go out at night coz I couldnt get into bars...... I just hated it, I even remeber being asked for my ID when I bought a "lighter" at 7 eleven. :lol: I just laughed.

I just wanna say sorry again for jumping at you, and I hope we dont talk more politics, coz I hate talking politics and disagreeing with people for something so stupid and monotonous. I sincerely hope that Evile make it to the US soon, Theyre gonna own!

it's totaly cool mate. alot of people that say the kind of stuff i said are total racist assholes. they're right but for all the wrong reasond so to speak. and i dont have a problem with imigrants, just the ones that come here illegaly, refuse to learn the national language, and use our social welfare and education programs on their kids, without paying the taxes to fund said programmes. but on a lighter note which part of the country are you visiting?

We have the same kind of immigrants here to, some work their asses of and other just make their living buy stealing on the streets, selling drugs, etc.

Im goin to Miami, FL my sister and brother live there so Im paying them a visit, the best part is I dont have to pay for a place to stay! I have been to write a few place in your beutiful country though, New york, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Orlando, Tampa, Phoenix. I think thats it :) I would love to go to Oregon and Georgia.
 
Georgia isn't to diferent from north Florida. except there are alot of guys with mullets in Georgia. it must be cool to continent hop so much. when will you be here? i might be able to recoment some good local bands that are on the southern tour circut now.
 
Trying our best to hit the US, had many attempts that failed. STILL working on it, hopefully may have some cool news regarding that, but can't say anything in case in gets FUCKED. in the BUM.

I get there on th 26th of august and I come back on the 12th of september. It would be great to check out some bands.
 
man you're missing some choice shows by just a few days. i'll keep my eyes peald though. warbringer isn't even hitting florida:mad:
but if you look around florida's death and protodeath scene is still decent.
