USA tour for next CD?

quite possibly. but the lads and I will not be content to just play to the underground metal scene when we are quite obviously capable of music that is well beyond that.
and because we are not known in america, we can be whoever we want.

WORD!!! :)

I would like to see you play at more common rock festivals too. I really believe there's a whole new audience waiting for you...

It's a dream of mine to organize a small rock festival in my home town, with Anathema on the bill, together with something like Arid, Ozark Henry and stuff like that. And some other genres too...

I allready organize a metalfest twice a year with some friends. But this is really what I would like to get at. We have the accomodation, now all we need is time and money :ill:

If you've got the accomodation then you've got the most important thing. All the rest is just a matter of will and relationships. I don't know what's the situation in Belgium, but here they're closing all the venues one after another and it has become almost impossible to organize some decent gig or fest

Hey I have been trying to get my local rock station to play your stuff. I did hear "Pressure" one time in the wee morning hours, and have turned the DJs into fans of yours.

It can happen, just gotta make it happen with a good word of mouth to get people to tune in. Heard of one person who likes your music will most likely tell 10 people about it...so on and so on.

I thought Antimatter wasn't going to be a touring type of band, but hey look at them now lol. They did play some shows in the US West Coast as a start, to help reach a wider fan base.

NOOOOOOOOO not fuckin arid. theyre gay :yell: perhaps you should think of another band who is having a hard time finding its way to the 'bigger' audience: The Gathering... :gin:

you serious? I mean with those bands you mentioned you need a lot of money, so you need sponsors, and who is sponsoring sth brand new....?

the metal scene seems to be content with shite, pointless music anyway so you may as well do your own thing. you should have seen the gig last night :(

Anathema and a-ha. There'd be a tour to remember. Damnit. It's a crime that my "fellow" Americans think of a-ha as some "teen heartthrob one-hit wonder". Just listen to Summer Moved On. Shit. We can't even get their cd's without spending like $35.
