Guise, I thought it'd be a good idea to get together an index of some pretty cool, free (or maybe not free) applications that you all use on a PC on a daily basis?

I'll start with some of mine;

µTorrent :)p)
AIM
Alarm
Auslogic's Registry Cleaner
Autoruns
CCleaner
CPUID CPU-Z
DAEMON Tools
Dropbox :)kickass:)
Foxit Reader
Google Sketchup (Not free)
Guitar Pro 5 (Not free)
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Mozilla Firefox :)kickass:)
O&O Defrag (Not free)
OpenOffice.org 3.2
REAPER :)kickass::kickass::kickass:)
Skype
Steam
VLC Media Player
Winamp
Windows Live Messenger
ZSNES

Mozilla Firefox
Adium
Logic Pro 9
Steam
Guitar Pro 5

can't think of much else that I'd use daily.

edit. Oh, and...
Mail
something I forgot

These may not be something that everyone will use everyday, it's just a list of what I use on a daily basis

Adium
iCal (I could not live without this synced to my phone, seriously)
Safari/Firefox
iTunes
Aperture 3
Photoshop CS5
Logic 9
Soundtrack Pro
Echofon
VLC
Max (best mac app for converting to FLAC/MP3, IMO)
Cyberduck (FTP)
Quickbooks 2009

Fucking win. Add to the list iSync, Thunderbird (could never get just plain 'mail' to work for me for whatever reason, but I'm thinking about giving it another shot), Pages (better than Word IMO), and Renamer4Mac, and you're golden.

+1 to Thunderbird.

It's everything Outlook is, plus more/better.

Windows Live Messenger
Dropbox
uTorrent
Reaper
Avast Virus Protection
Windows Media Player
Winamp
Tux Guitar
Guitar Pro 5
Gimp 2

Reaper
Guitar Pro
Guitar Rig
Adobe (Dreamweaver/Flash/Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere)
Winamp
MSN Messenger
Opera Browser

and most important of all NOTEPAD!

Nothing really that hasn't been mentioned, apart from Sandboxie, which basically lets you run a dubious program in a sandbox that won't really affect anything if it does have a virus, etc.
