What else can I say? It totally sucked balls.

So the Wachowski Bros. idea of the totalitarian state is one where faggits are rounded up and possession of a koran is punishable by death?

Hugo Weaving is the star of the movie and he never once shows his face?

The Queen of Naboo is the heroine and blows up parliament for no particular reason, since the bad guys were already killed?

Lame, lame, hella muthafuckin' lame!

I liked the part where everyword began with the letter V. That was about it.

"People should not be afraid of their government...

The government should be afraid of it's people."

words of wisdom.
I give it 5 pentagrams.
The domino scene is already a cinematic classic.

It suffers from the same problem as Lord of the Rings, you only get it if you´ve read the comic/books.

Arg, you sexy Sveriger, I think I got all of the "Subtler" points the film was trying to make. Hey, I sat right through it, even though a friend of mine got up and left, complaining it was too "talky."

I even enjoyed how they grabbed footage of a Nuremberg rally, colourized it, and superimposed the "double-cross" emblem over the swastikas.

My complaints revolve around the total lack of character development, and of course the leftist social commentary on what sort of behaviour makes fascism.

If its demagoguery by day and police arrests at night, they did a good job.

If its pity for the vanished mohammedans and heart-rending lesbian prison love letters (complete with good-looking rugmunchers, which is beyond realistic), well, I'm afraid I started liking the bad guys.
