Vali, Harmaa with Tenhi and Neun Welten

"Forlatt" has brilliant moments, even though it does not come close to Tenhi or October Falls for the moment, but I'm glad to see Váli join the Prophecy family, that's where they belong. Good news for Harmaa too, hopefully they'll reedit the first album or something, as it does deserve being widespread. In each and every household worldwide indeed.

forlatt IS great, and i look foward to his next effort. I would like to see more songs with female vocals like on one of the later tracks on the album. I actually like Vali just as much as october falls , Tenhi is too different for them to be compared imo

Great, that Váli got signed. I was interested and heard one song by them, but if I remember right, it was cassette-release (or a cdr) and I didn't get it.

I personally think the overall feeling was somewhat different, than with October Falls, but that's only based on one song.

Some day, I have to pass few link here from Finnish band Häive, that sounds very much like early Tenhi.

I agree M that you and vail do differ in sound, but the styles are not as different than tenhi. I also think some of this sounds like something empyrium would have wrote in their latter days (probably why i like it so much). I want my acoustics to sound exactly like the above, somber and gloomy. I think some more vocals scattered sporadically would improve it though.

I totally agree, fuck any upbeat shit. I really enjoyed those MP3s by the way, I hadn't heard that band before. I shall have to get a CD or something.

Still waiting to receive the new Tenhi, I'm really quite looking forward to it.

Couple of questions:

- is it possible to get hold of a copy of Forlatt? If so, where?
- what are Subauditon like?

It may be out of print (i got mine at foreshadow online store, sold out now). Now that hes with a new label maybe they will rerelease it some day.

As for subaudition, i was wondering myself. On the website it mentions tenhi (not sure if this is accurate) anyone else?

Hey, glad to see this kind of music discussed here. For Subaudition mp3s go to www.myspace.com/subauditionfinland. In addition, the official site www.subaudition.cjb.net has the video Raindrops (a track from our forthcoming album, due out late April) , and the whole sold out demo Waves at Ease from 2004 - both available for download!

As to us sounding like Tenhi... Well, I'm strongly influenced by them, but I still think that musically we're not that similar. There are Tenhi-like parts, but there's also some Pink Floyd, Anathema, some classical and some ambient influence in our music.

On another note, could some one PLEASE put the Vali songs back online...

If no one upload those, I'll send them to you some way later, too tired now to start transfering them to anywhere.

I think WaE sounded more like Tenhi, only some parts of course. The demo is great stuff, it would be great to release that as a ltd bonus disc with the debut, that is of course as great as the demo. Have to d/l the demo now, as I lost the tracks when my old computer let me down.

Ok, thanks a lot! Of course I agree with you on WaE sounding a bit more like Tenhi. For instance, if you listen to the first song we ever made (Hidden in Plain Sight), you see where we are coming from... The demo won't come out with the debut, but I hope we will figure out a way of rereleasing it at some point. Believe it (or not), a total number of three copies of the demo were sold. More were sent as promos and given free to friends, of course, but the pressing was only 50 copies anyway. Rare, eh?
