Varg's Out!?

Prison day-release :lol:

Warden 1: 'Hey, is Varg back yet?'
Warden 2: 'Dunno, haven't seen him...I'll check his cell'
(Warden 2 walks off to check Varg's cell)
Warden 2: 'Nope, he's not there, guess he didn't come back from day release!'
Warden 1: 'What bad manners, every other neo-nazi church burning murderer always comes back on time!'
Warden 2: 'You don't think he's an hour late due to dayight savings?'
Warden 1: 'Could be...'

Oh but didn't you know? ;) in this area (aka sweden, but apparently norway as well :eek: ) people do get leave from prison occasionally.
Of course, not anyone who's at all dangerous for the public, such as those involved with tax fraud and those who park their cars where they're not allowed to. But it's alright for totally harmless people, like serial killers, muderers, church burners, robbers, mental cases and rapists to freely roam the streets.

@DJ: :lol:

@Northern Lights: You don't know what those wicked tax evaders could do if they even had an hour off prison. Make false claims that would bring the Scandinavian welfare state bureucracy to it's knees possibly. We all know church burning and serial murder take considerable amounts of time and planning, nothing a man could accomplish on a weekend holiday.

Yeah, they found him...it probably went something like this:

Policeman: Here you are Varg
Varg: Oh, uh, hey, I was just on my way back...
Policeman: Then why are you driving a stolen car down a major highway?
Varg: Umm...well, I realised I was late due to daylight savings...so I panicked and stole a car, I didn't want to let you guys down with day release...but then I forgot where I was going, and I've been so scared...
Policeman: Poor guy, anyone could make that mistake, c'mon, I'll take you back, its time for milk and cookies, and Uncle Herb is reading your favourite story...

Wait wait...
They just let racist pscyho 23-stab-wound murderers out of jail for a few days?
That must be the best idea I've heard in a long time.
The best thing is how surprised they always are when they
don't return.... "He was such a nice, never thought he would
escape..." um, I don't think the people he killed didn't think he
could do that either ;)

@RH
Um, you mean 21 years is worse then life?
Yes, you _might_ get pardoned in 12 years by the president,
but I think Varg would have pretty much the same chance
of that as a new born baby has in a really really hot oven ;)
