UK ROCK BAND VEGA RELEASE THE SINGLE "WHITE KNUCKLE RIDE":
UK rock band Vega release the single white knuckle ride from their highly anticipated 2nd album what the hell! on October 24th through iTunes. The single and album is being released by Universal/Ninetone/Spinefarm.
The guys filmed the video for the single on the runway at Elvington Airfield which was the scene of the infamous accident of Top Gear's Richard Hammond. The guys strutted and posed throughout the day on the two mile long runway and in true rock fashion had the music turned up to 12 (12 is the new 11). Check the video out below or via: .

To support the release of the single the guys are hitting the road in the UK. You can catch them at:
Nov 2nd York (Fibbers)
Nov 3rd Nottingham (Rock City)
Nov 4th London (Borderline)
Dec 15th London (Underworld, supporting The Treatment)

Classic Rock: “Melodic rock kings in waiting…”
Melodicrock.com: “One of the best debuts of 2010 and of the last few years”
Rock Report: “This album is truly melodic rock master piece”
Malcolm Dome: “Vega are a British melodic hard rock band who stand apart from most in this vein, because not only do they write melodic songs, but they've a significant depth. Debut album Kiss Of Life shows enough talent and cohesion to suggest a big future awaits."
The guys hit the road in support of the album and the rave reviews for the live show started arriving:
Classic Rock: “Vega won over the crowd with anthems punchier than a Croydon hen party after a crate of Bacardi Breezers”
Fireworks: “I was transfixed by the quality of what I was hearing and seeing….”
Powerplay: “10/10 the band of the weekend”

In 2011 Vega decided to go in search of a record company that shared their passion for trying to inject something new in to the rock genre, whilst still maintaining the 80's/90's roots that influenced them in the first place. After a long search Vega finally secured a worldwide deal with Universal Records/Ninetone/Spinefarm who will release their 2nd album in January 2013. The album will be released in the USA by Spektra Records. Singer Nick Workman says “We wanted to write an album where every song could have been a single, so we have been spending a lot of time fine tuning the songs. We pretty much demoed each song twice before we were satisfied”. The new album will feature 13 tracks of hook laden “stadium rock songs” that deserve to be play loud enough to piss off your neighbours..."
As rock Journo Dave Ling say's “These guys could have a major role to play in the future.”
