Freakin A, that's a good lineup. Where's Orangevale? Is it near/how far is it from San Diego?

Orangevale is just outside of Sacramento, Northeast of San Francisco. Eastiest way to get there is fly into Sacramento (about $200 on America West), rent a car and drive to Orangevale, probably take about a 30 minute drive to get there. I've been checking prcies and shit cuz I've been thinking about going to the Sacramento show. It costs about $80-100 more to fly to Portland.

That is cool we are opening for this shindig, it would be an honor to share the stage which such a popular band from the early 90's and that still crushes!! Playing with Exhumed will be fun! That bastard will puke everywhere again!!

I just read on Blabbernmouth that EXHUMED have been added to the VIO-LENCE, TESTAMENT AND HALFORD show in Vegas on the 29th. Has VEHEMENCE been trying to get on that show as well? That would be killer if you could.

Hey everyone,

John Im not sure if you remember me or not, you might know me from my website but I won't spam it here. Anyway, I'll be seeing you up in Portland all the way from sunny So. Cal. I have been wanting to check you guys out but last time you where in So. Cal with Dragonlord, Dragonlord ended up cancelling so it'll be cool seeing you up north. I'll be there for the holidays and then I'm flying out of Portland to Vegas for the Halford show as well then back to Cali for more brutal fullfillment with Halford. It's gonna be a long holiday lol.

Oh man... I, along with everybody I know, will be there...

Oh, by the way I got a question for Bjorn/John. Have you ever made a song, and then changed keys to make it sound better? Do you think different keys sound better for different songs? I was at my friends house and we were arguing about this for like 2 hours. I say it makes no difference what key something is played in...

All our songs are written using "B" tuning. I've been using this tuning for about 9 years, I'm just real used to it, and hate playing guitars in standard tuning. I do think different keys sound better for different songs. For example, our songs would sound wierd in the key of "E". It really is just a matter of personal preference. :)

I really don't think it makes that much of a difference. I have gotten used to the key of F (or D aeolian), because i like drop D tuning, and palm muting on the D gives a dark sound in the kay of F. It sounds cool... But I don't really think the key makes a differnece... If you tuned your guitar done a half step every string and play the same thing, it won't sound better or worse.

Yeah the key of 'E' is bad for dark songs. Palm mutes on the E string in key of E is too happy. Well, to happy for death metal...
